Baby death: Man and woman charged by police following death of four-month-old boy
POLICE investigating the death of a four-month-old baby boy have charged a man and woman in connection with the death.

Officers in Sheerness were called to a medical emergency involving the child in Lapwing Close, Sheerness on April 13.
The baby later died in hospital on April 27.
Police investigating the death have now charged a 24-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman.

The pair have been charged with causing serious injury or death to a child as a result of an unlawful act.
Kent Police said in a statement: “Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate have been investigating the circumstances behind the death and have charged a 32-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man with causing serious injury or death to a child as a result of an unlawful act.”
Both have been bailed to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on November 15.
