Emergency declared on British Airways flight from Las Vegas to London Heathrow
A BRITISH AIRWAYS flight from Las Vegas to London Heathrow has landed safely after declaring a mid-air emergency.
The British Airways emergency was declared as the plane travelled from Las Vegas to Heathrow
The emergency was declared on flight BA274 flight at 1.45pm GMT, with the plane flying at 37,000 feet.
A spokesman for British Airways said the emergency was declared due to a "individual medical issue".
He added: "The pilots requested a priority landing due to an individual feeling unwell."
Medics met the plane as it landed on the tarmac at Heathrow Airport shortly after 3pm.
