LEICESTER City's Premier League winning title party got under way in spine-tingling style yesterday as opera legend Andrea Bocelli lifted the roof off the King Power stadium with a stirring performance.
The world-famous singer - a friend of Foxes manager and compatriot Claudio Ranieri - sent supporters into overdrive when he took to the pitch in the club's distinctive blue kit.
Pitch perfect superstar Bocelli whipped off his jacket to reveal a Foxes shirt before belting out classics Nessun Dorma and Con Te Partiro as Leicester fans sang along and waved blue and white flags in the crowd.
Popular boss Ranieri, stood by the opera star's side, looked visibly moved as the euphoric King Power stadium kicked off the most extraordinary Premier League party in history.
The crowd fell silent in respect for the world-famous tenor, before joining in with the rousing final few lines of the legendary Nessun Dorma.

Bocelli belted out classics including Nessun Dorma as the title party got under way
Bocelli paid to fly himself to Leicester and performed in front of the Foxes faithful for free after promising his good friend Ranieri he would make an appearance if his team held their nerve and clinched the title.
And the opera star sent out a series of excited tweets ahead of his virtuoso performance, using Leicester's FearlessFoxes hashtag as he joined in with the party mood.
After the performance the singer added: "Thank you #Leicester and congratulations."

The 5000-1 history makers secured the top flight title on Monday when Tottenham Hostpur failed to beat Chelsea, meaning they now cannot catch the flying Foxes.

Today's game, against Everton, kicked off at 5.30pm amid a carnival atmosphere with thousands of fans descending on the areas around the King Power stadium to enjoy the atmosphere.
Before the match and Bocelli's performance a tearful Ranieri told the adoring crowd: "I want to say to you we are champions because you pushed so far behind us. I love you, thank you."
And to thank their loyal fans the club's Thai owners put on free pizza and beer for the supporters, who produced such a raucous atmosphere that the TV cameras visibly shook in the stands.

There is a carnival atmosphere at the King Power stadium today
Jamie Vardy put the flying Foxes 1-0 up after five minutes
The party ratcheted up a notch further five minutes in when England hotshot Jamie Vardy latched on to a cross from the right and swept home to put the Foxes 1-0 up.
And roared on by the capacity crowd Leicester had several chances to extend on their league, with opponents Everton rocking and looking unable to cope with the carnival atmosphere.
Club captain Wes Moragn will lift the iconic Premier League trophy at the end of the match regardless of the result, putting the seal on what has been billed by many as the most remarkable sporting triumph in history.
Lifelong Foxes supporter Steve Worthy, 39, will get to hand over the coveted trophy after winning the Barclays 'I Am One' competition.
