Man charged with murder of Rochdale imam Jalal Uddin
A MAN has been charged with murdering an imam in Rochdale.
Mr Uddin died after he was found with head injuries in a children's play area in Rochdale
Detectives investigating the killing of religious leader Jalal Uddin on his way home from a mosque have charged a man with his murder.
Mr Uddin was found with head injuries in a children's play area in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, after being attacked on February 18.
The 64-year-old was taken to hospital but died a short time later.

Mohammed Hussain Syeedy, 21, of Ramsay Street, Rochdale, has been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder
Mohammed Hussain Syeedy, 21, of Ramsay Street, Rochdale, has been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder, Greater Manchester Police said.
He will appear at Bury Magistrates Court on Monday.
A 17-year-old boy previously arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed until April 20.
