THIS is the incredible moment it started raining in a supermarket aisle in front of shocked shoppers.
This the moment it started raining in a supermarket
The bizarre event happened after rainwater burst through the roof and gushed through checkout aisles at an ASDA supermarket.
Shoppers were forced to run for cover as water cascaded into the store for about 30 minutes in Birmingham at around 1pm on Tuesday.
The downpour caused chaos in the store at One Stop Shopping Centre in Perry Barr, with shoppers taking shelter until the flooding subsided.
Dramatic footage of the "waterfall" pouring through the supermarket was captured by Raj Rattu, who said workers were more concerned about saving stock than helping customers.
He said: "It was absolute chaos. It just started pouring in through the roof like a waterfall. The guttering must have given way.

"I was stranded in the electrical section and we couldn't move until the rain had stopped. It was quite frightening with all the lights and electrical goods around."
The community worker, 40, added: "The staff didn't have a clue what they were doing. They just seemed more interested in saving the stock than seeing to the customers.

The store was closed for around 45 minutes after the soggy incident
"It was really slippery and I just got out as soon as could. I was soaked through on the bus home afterwards."
