Scallops war hots up after shirt taunt
A FRENCH fisherman holds up a burning England rugby shirt to taunt British rivals as the so called scallops war deepens.
British boats have been attacked by up to 40 French vessels trying to stop them catching scallops in shared waters in the Channel since the Bay of Seine off Normandy was reopened for fishing last week.
Trawlers were pelted with rocks and had flares fired at them before the shirt was set alight.
