George Osborne will stay, says Prime Minister David Cameron
DAVID Cameron last night vowed not to shift George Osborne out of the Treasury despite concerns that Britain will be stuck in recession until at least next year.
His forthright insistence during a TV interview has been seen as a bid to quash speculation that the Chancellor will be shifted in a Cabinet reshuffle this autumn.
He told Sky News: “George Osborne is doing an excellent job in very difficult circumstances and he has my full support in going on and doing that job.”
