Prince Harry's beauty queen fan as he shows off Jubilee medal
PRINCE Harry wore his Diamond Jubilee medal – in honour of the Queen’s 60-year reign – for the first time in public yesterday.
He chose a thanksgiving cathedral service in the Bahamas to proudly display the tribute to his grandmother alongside his Golden Jubilee and Afghanistan medals.
Harry – touring the Caribbean to celebrate the Jubilee – was joined by Bahamas’ governor-general Sir Arthur Foulkes and members of the government, including prime minister Hubert Ingraham.

The Anglican Bishop of the Bahamas Laish Boyd told the congregation that the Queen “has been diligent, faithful, unswerving, steadfast and sure in the executions of her duties and in her availability to all who have called upon her”.

Harry’s medals were pinned to an immaculate white military jacket, part of the tropical No 1 dress of his regiment, the Household Cavalry’s Blues and Royals.

Thousands of men and women from the armed forces and other services have been receiving the Jubilee medal.
Harry’s dashing appearance caught the eye of one eligible young woman – Miss Bahamas, Anastagia Pierre, 23.
The model and broadcaster, who was in the congregation, said: “I came here to fall in love with Prince Harry. He’s hot. He is single now, so would I marry him? Yes.”

However he could get a different reception in South America this week. Argentine protesters claiming the Falkland Islands are planning to disrupt Harry´s two-day visit to Brazil, starting on Friday.
The leader of the Argentine community there, Oswaldo Sicardi, said yesterday that the visit was “in extremely bad taste” coming just weeks before the 30th anniversary of the start of the Falklands War.

He called on Argentinians in Rio de Janeiro to “show their anger” by picketing the visit.

He said: “Harry can come to Brazil to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee, raise the profile of his charity or to further business links.
“But he is clearly coming with an ulterior motive, to try to change Brazil´s position over the Malvinas.”
It was another act of provocation “along with deploying Prince William, sending nuclear submarines and its most powerful warship”.
