Police and paramedics responded to six separate emergency incidents between Friday, June 5 and the early hours of Monday, June 8.

The Met yesterday launched a murder investigation when the teen was found dead after the London Ambulance Service called police to reports of gunshots at a house in Finchley at around 12.15am.

Det Ch Insp Allam Bhangoo said: “Our thoughts are with the young woman’s family at this incredibly difficult time as they begin to come to terms with their loss.

“We understand the concern this incident will cause within the community.

“While our inquiries are ongoing, residents can expect to see an increased police presence over the coming days, and I encourage anyone with concerns to speak with officers.

Anyone with information about the incident or doorbell or dashcam footage from around midnight in or near to Dale Grove is asked to contact police.

The young woman’s death came after singer-songwriter Talay Riley was found by paramedics with stab wounds in the garden of a property in Silvertown, on Friday morning.

Despite their efforts to save his life, he was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

Talay, whose real name was Mark Orabiyi, ahd been handed a record deal aged 18 but was most influential as a songwriter, penning tracks for the likes of Dua Lipa and Britney Spears.

Another man in his 20s was also treated for multiple stab wounds and remains seriously ill in hospital, though his injuries are not expected to be life-threatening.

Three people were arrested on suspicion of murder following Riley’s death. A 27-year-old man has since been released on bail pending further enquiries, while a second man, and woman, 25, have been released with no further action.
