Drivers on the M60 are facing rush-hour travel chaos this morning after a crash involving three cars. The multi-vehicle collision on the major UK motorway happened on the anti-clockwise stretch from J1, Stockport Pyramid, to J27, for the Portwood roundabout.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed that three cars were involved, but no one was injured and all passengers exited their vehicles safely. Traffic service Inrix said there were queues of around five miles of traffic due to the impacted area being "partially blocked". Traffic is also slow on the clockwise carriageway "due to onlookers", Inrix added.
