The area is becoming increasingly popular for holidays due to everything Redcar has to offer at such a cheap price.

Although dogged by a somewhat tarnished reputation due to its dilapidated town centre, these bargain property deals might be the catalyst needed for Redcar's economic turnaround.

The town is located an hour and 20 minutes away from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and is around the same distance from York.

Redcar beach is a popular destination to visit for tourists and locals alike. One visitor on Tripadvisor said: “Lovely quiet place to walk on the beach, plenty of it so it never seems crowded. I have been several times at different times of the year-not been disappointed so far.”

Another penned: “The beach is absolutely amazing and we had a wonderful time, very sandy and clean and the stretch goes on for miles. We had a wonderful evening stroll and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.”

The town is known for its rich maritime heritage and its mix of historical sites and contemporary entertainment.

It has become known for its dedication to preserving its history while embracing modern leisure activities making it an appealing destination.

If you plan to visit the area, you should make a visit to the Zetland Lifeboat Museum and Redcar Heritage Centre. Here you’ll find the world's oldest surviving lifeboat named the Zetland.

For those looking to enjoy the natural landscapes of the area, the beach features clean sand, safe swimming areas, and lifeguard patrols during peak seasons.

You can also take on a range of activities such as kite surfing, swimming, and beachcombing for seashells.

Redcar is an exciting destination with lots to offer and it seems more Brits are beginning to recognise this.
