A mum alleges that a hotel receptionist in Benidorm was caught on camera pilfering her underwear and stealing a pair while on holiday with her son.

Rara Armstrong, an OnlyFans model from Gloucester, took her 11-year-old son on holiday to the popular Spanish resort and claims she received unwanted attention from the hotel worker.

This included him asking for her number and inviting her for coffee. She felt "creeped out" when he subscribed to her page and declared she was too "sexy" for him to resist after she scolded him for his unprofessional behaviour.

The situation escalated when he supposedly visited her room with a bottle of prosecco as an "apology", which heightened Rara's suspicions.

As a result, she set up her son's iPad as a hidden camera in case he returned to the room while they were out.

In the startling video recorded on her iPad, a man wearing smart attire can be seen entering the room and allegedly rummaging through what Rara alleges to be her dirty laundry bag. He is then seemingly caught sniffing a thong before stashing it away and leaving with it.

The travel firm has expressed regret over the incident, with claims that the hotel dismissed the employee the morning after Rara reported the disturbing event.

Rara said: "It made me feel horrible, I felt so violated. I was there with my son and this man was meant to be [a member of] staff. He basically comes in and he starts going through my stuff. He goes off camera and there's a rustling. He went through my laundry bag and got a thong that I'd worn and started sniffing them.

"It just happened to be right in the camera which is why so many people are saying it's fake, but it's not. It's why I posted it because it's so surreal. He sniffed them a few times. He carries on snooping, I don't know what he was looking for. As he leaves, he sniffs them again and puts them in his back pocket. It was crazy. I wasn't expecting something like that."

Since arriving back in the UK, Rara has struggled to report the incident to Spanish authorities and claims the hotel refused to issue a refund or compensation without a police report.

The mum now seeks to alert other women, urging them to report suspicious characters immediately and to consider setting up cameras if they feel something is amiss.

Rara added: "We were leaving [the next morning] anyway. I thought I'd be able to sort things out when we got back. The hotel are saying they told me to call the police and I refused, which is a complete lie. They basically told me not to show the video to anyone.

"They're saying I can't even get a refund for the holiday or anything because I didn't go to the police even though I've explained it was really late at night and we left the next morning. It's been a real nightmare getting any sort of justice from it. My advice to others would just be to be really vigilant. If someone is being creepy towards you, report them straight away. Maybe carry a door lock protection or something. And maybe record your room, that seems to be a good thing to do so then you have evidence and the hotel can't deny that it's happened."

The hotel chose not to comment on the matter, while the travel company clarified that since Rara did not report the incident during her holiday, they were unable to offer support or guide her through the process of reporting to the police. As such, no compensation is being offered.
