Rioters taking to the streets in Middlesbrough have been filming their endeavours and publicly sharing them on social media for the world to see.

Footage has emerged across platforms like TikTok and X, formerly known as Twitter, showing a large crowd of boys and girls marching down a street in the Teesside town targeting local homes and cars with rocks.

One video, seemingly shot by a young man and streamed live on TikTok, shows the rioters walking down the empty street as shouting and police sirens are heard in the background.

As the group heads towards Middlesbrough city centre, one boy clad in black can be seen bending down to pick up pebbles out of a pothole before throwing the tiny rocks at a front door.

Within seconds, another thudding sound can be heard off-screen after another young man with a light blue jacket is filmed throwing something.

The man filming the video is then heard saying, "Oh!" as the sound of a smashed window is heard from behind, prompting him to turn around and film another group of young men observing what appears to be the broken window of a nearby home.

He is then seen moving away quickly as another young man wearing a black puffer jacket throws what appears to be a rock at another window, breaking it completely.

Another video shows rioters continuing to walk down the streets of Middlesbrough as more and more windows are smashed.

At one point, one rioter in a bright pink football shirt is seen trying to kick in the front door of a home as the sound of broken windows continues to go off in the background.

The man recording the thugs is heard saying, "I've got to turn off the comments," before the video cuts off.

The unrest began following the death of three young girls attending a Taylor Swift dance party in Southport on July 29.

Despite authorities denying fake allegations claiming that the 17-year-old boy charged in connection to the deaths was either an asylum seeker or a Muslim, far-right agitators have sought to take advantage of the stabbing attack by tapping into concerns about the scale of immigration in the UK.

Further footage from Middlesbrough appeared to show the rioters stopping cars in the middle of the streets and asking drivers about their religion and ethnicity before allowing them to drive on.

And on Sunday, hundreds of rioters sought to break into a Holiday Inn Express hotel being used as accommodation for asylum-seekers in Rotherham.

In a statement from 10 Downing Street on Sunday afternoon, Keir Starmer vowed that the authorities will “do whatever it takes to bring these thugs to justice" and that justice will be swift.

The Prime Minister said: “I guarantee you will regret taking part in this disorder, whether directly or those whipping up this action online and then running away themselves. This is not a protest, it is organised, violent thuggery and it has no place on our streets or online.”
