Al Qaeda ‘is plotting a new 7/7’
AT LEAST two Al Qaeda linked terror cells are planning mass casualty attacks in Britain.
They are among dozens of similar groups plotting July 7-style suicide missions and other atrocities.
Intelligence experts have targeted the terrorists who are understood to have discussed hitting “soft targets.” These include transport systems, shopping centres and tourist areas.
The details emerged on the fifth anniversary of the July 7 London bomb attacks which killed 52 innocent people.
Counter-terrorism police and MI5 are investigating scores of plots and conspiracies as they work to thwart attacks and save lives.
