Boy, 17, dies in stabbing in London in broad daylight as police hunt killer
The Metropolitan Police responded to a stabbing this afternoon in Paddington Green, W2, where a teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have launched a murder investigation following a stabbing in Westminster.
The Metropolitan Police said officers attended an incident this afternoon in which a boy, suspected to be 17 years old, was stabbed in Paddington Green, W2.
The service said that officers arrived at the scene around 1.41pm today, followed by members of the London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance.
Despite their best efforts, the emergency responders said, the teen was pronounced dead just over half-an-hour later at 2.15pm.
The service has now launched an investigation and called for anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward.
