'Violent' man on run from secure hospital in London as police warn not to approach him
Mosa Jamal Abid ran off at about 3pm on Monday and needs his medication, London's Metropolitan Police said.
A "violent" man on leave from a secure hospital is on the run after giving his escort the slip when they went into a shop. Mosa Jamal Abid, 26, ran off at about 3pm on Monday, April 10, according to the Metropolitan Police.
A spokesperson for the force warned Mosa can be violent and urged members of the public not to approach him.
Mosa is believed to have fled east along Uxbridge Road in Ealing before possibly entering Brent Lodge Park.
After making his escape, the area was searched but without success. CCTV enquiries have been ongoing with officers continuing their search, according to MyLondon.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from their roles as senior members of the Royal Family three years ago. Now, one broadcaster has claimed that the rift between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Firm is “too far gone” for reconciliation, but do you agree?
Mosa was last seen wearing a navy, hooded jacket, black trousers and blue trainers.
He requires medication for a health condition and might attend a hospital for help.
Mosa may also approach mosques in the area for food or drink during the Iftar period.
