George Osborne's brother faces medical ban
THE doctor brother of Shadow Chancellor George Osborne faces being struck off after he was found guilty yesterday of misleading and dishonest behaviour.
The General Medical Council heard Adam Osborne, 33, tried to falsify documents in a bid to supply a cocaine-addict woman friend with prescription drugs.
The addict, referred to only as Miss B, told Osborne she was hallucinating and saw and felt spiders crawling all over her.
A GMC panel heard the doctor entered a false name into a computer to get tranquillisers at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester, in May 2008, then wrote a private prescription leaving off the woman’s name.
