'Give me ONE Labour policy!' Sky host fumes as MP squirms over brutal quarantine probe
LABOUR MP Jonathan Reynolds squirmed as Sky News' Niall Paterson demanded the party's position on quarantining those arriving from Spain.
Travel advice: Jonathan Reynolds grilled on 'Labour's policy'
Over the weekend, the Government announced that Spain was being removed from the travel corridors exemption coronavirus list. This meant that anyone returning from Spain must quarantine for 14 days upon returning to the UK. Labour MP Jonathan Reynolds criticised this decision and the Government's overall handling of coronavirus post-lockdown.
However, Sky News host Niall Paterson questioned what the Labour Party would do differently and what measures they would take.
While speaking to Mr Reynolds on Sky News, Mr Paterson questioned whether the Labour Party would introduce testing at airports as many airports have argued for that instead of quarantines.
Mr Reynolds said: "I just feel we are getting more announcements because it is nearly August.
"Perhaps that is something the Government thinks will get them through it.

"We don't need more initiatives, we need a full and effective comprehensive system in place to deal with this."
The Sky News host snapped at the Labour MP and demanded to hear his party's ideas and suggestions to deal with travel and coronavirus.
Mr Paterson said: "We do know, however, that the airports and the UK based travel industry are absolutely crying out for testing at airports.
"All I am trying to get this morning is a Labour Party policy."
UK sign deal for 60 million doses of potential coronavirus vaccine
Mr Reynolds answered: "We would like a system in place, a full test and trace system that covers all eventualities.
"This includes wherever they are going on holiday or wherever they are going and travelling to.
"Until we have that, we will not have anything like the kind of normality, return to economic health that we need.
"Frankly, more initiatives about different parts of where people may be going on holiday and where we might put those tests isn't enough.

"What we really need a comprehensive system in place because until we have that we are going to have some real problems in place."
Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden argued against the testing for coronavirus at airports while speaking on LBC today.
He said: "It is not a silver bullet so you can test negative initially then the virus can incubate and then it can spread.
"We do not get the assurance just from a test once people arrive."
He added the UK Government was doing everything it could to prevent importing the virus from other countries at this crucial stage in the pandemic.
