Brexit Party supporter hits out at Remain politicians - ‘It’s really about democracy now'
A BREXIT Party supporter insisted Britain’s EU departure must go ahead on October 31 as promised or democracy itself could be undermined.
Brexit: Boris Johnson 'invites' MPs to vote in support of his deal
Nigel Farage’s new movement soared in the polls earlier this year winning the European Parliament elections in the UK. The party has held a series of well attended rallies across the UK.
One of these took place at Westminster’s Emmanuel Centre on September 27.
A number of attendees were interviewed by Sam Sholli, an independent journalist, for his YouTube channel.
One man insisted he still backs Brexit despite possibly losing as much as £20,000 as a result of the 2016 vote.
He explained: “I’ve lost money already in Europe but I’m not worried about that as long as we get out.
“One of my pensions was tied up with a Spanish company and as soon as this Brexit thing started they collapsed and I lost about £20,000.
“As long as it doesn’t affect a lot of people fine.”
Asked if the company’s collapse was caused by the UK’s vote to quit the EU he replied “they claim it was for Brexit but who knows nowadays”.
On Saturday MPs are due to vote on Boris Johnson’s new EU exit deal.

This will be the first time the House of Commons has sat on a Saturday since the 1982 Falklands War.
Opposition parties, as well as the Tories DUP allies, have vowed to vote down Mr Johnson’s deal.
However it could get through will the support of Labour rebels and former Tory MPs, who were expelled from the party after working to block any no deal exit.
Complicating matters former Conservative MP Oliver Letwin has tabled a bill obliging the Prime Minister to request a Brexit extension regardless of whether his deal is approved or not.

MPs could vote for Brexit deal today but still sabotage UK's exit
Mr Johnson has repeatedly vowed to take Britain out of the EU on October 31, but in September Parliament passed a law making this illegal unless it explicitly votes for a deal or no deal Brexit.
The Brexit Party backer claimed the 2016 referendum result must be honoured for democratic reasons.
Speaking outside the Emmanuel Centre he commented: “It’s really about democracy now.
“We had a democratic vote, they said they would stand by the vote no matter what and now they want a second referendum.
“Are they going to stand by the second referendum or the third or the fourth?”
To get his deal through Parliament Mr Johnson will need the support of Labour rebels and former Tory MPs he expelled for opposing a no deal exit.
Some of the 21 Tory rebels who had the whips withdrawn after voting against the Government are expected to back it this time around.
Speaking to Newsnight, Sir Nicholas Soames said: My quarrel with the Prime Minister was over nothing except no deal.
“And so it’s a deal, and I will vote for it, and so will many of my colleagues of the people who had the whip taken away from them because that is what we all want.”
David Guake, another of the group, is expected to back the deal as are a number of Labour rebels.
