Beauty treatments may cause allergies
WOMEN who opt for permanent make-up beauty treatments risk suffering disfigurement years later.
Millions of women across the world use the treatments, including thousands in the UK. The ink treatments, where lipstick or eyeliner are “tattooed” onto the face, can cause allergic reactions including swelling, itching and bumps, research by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found. It said some allergic reactions lasted more than three years.
