THE HENLEY FESTIVAL is an exclusive annual event organised to celebrate international music and the arts. What is the dress code for the Henley Festival this year?

Henley Festival is held on the Berkshire bank of the River Thames each year at Henley on Thames from July 10 to July 14. The annual extravaganza uses the same facilities from the Henley Royal Regatta rowing event the week before, with slight adaptations. The Henley Festival’s main stage floats off Henley on Thames, while spectators watch on from stands set up on the bank. Festival planners have said there is an official dress code for those who hope to attend this year.
What is the Henley Festival dress code?
The Henley Festival is an exclusive event, and much like Wimbledon guests are required to dress their best.
Festival organisers have laid down a black-tie dress code for their guests.
They said: “We encourage our guests to get dressed to the nines.

“Think dinner jackets, evening trousers and bow ties for men, long or short evening wear for ladies, sequins and sparkle!
“Remember - you can never be overdressed at Henley!”
Festival planners recommend prospective attendees take a look at the gallery showcase on the official website.
The only exception to the black-tie rule is at the Henley Symphony Orchestra Saturday Lunchtime Concert and Family Sunday children’s event.
Although the festival is famously exclusive, with a high-brow clientele and sharp dress code, Henley strives for inclusiveness.
They said: “We believe that anyone who comes into contact with our festival is important, be it a member of our team, a performing artist, a guest, or someone that benefits from the support of any of our chosen charities.
“We never lose touch with the reason why we set the festival up in the first place - to give others, the support and opportunity to feel special too.”
This year Henley Festival promises to deliver an impressive show, with a line up of big-name musicians.
