London stabbing: Horror as boy attacked on busy high street minutes before school starts
A TEENAGE boy was taken to hospital after being stabbed on a busy high street in south east London shortly after 8.30am.

Crime knife continues to soar in London as another person falls victim of an attack in the capital. Police rushed to Lewisham High Street following reports of the stabbing, which they said took place at 8.38am. Officers added they have informed the teen's next of kin, but refrained from releasing more details related to the victim.
An investigation into the stabbing has been launched, with police urging witnesses to contact them.
Scotland Yard tweeted: "We are at the scene of a stabbing in Lewisham High St at 8.38am today.
"The victim, a boy in his mid-teens, has been taken to hospital. Next of kin informed.
"We await details of his condition. Witnesses pls call 101 ref 1431/jan14."
They later confirmed the condition of the boy is "not life-threatening".
This stabbing comes after London’s bloodiest year in a decade.
Scotland Yard has investigated a total of 132 homicides across the capital in 2018 alone, the highest figure recorded since 2008, when 154 probes were launched.
And for the first time ever the number of homicide rate in London briefly surpassed the one in New York, USA.
This happened in February, when London's police officers were investigating into 15 suspicious deaths while their counterpart across the pond was looking into 11.
A research conducted by Sky has revealed the longest period London has gone without a violent death in 2018 has been just 16 days.
Between April and September the Metropolitan Police’s Violent Crime Taskforce seized 1,500 knives and over 180 guns across London.
