SHOCKING footage captures the moment have-a-go heroes disarm a knife-wielding teenager as lawless London’s crime epidemic rages on.
Men wrestle knife from teenager on busy London street
Terrifying photos shows men grappling with the armed youth in broad daylight on busy Green Street near Upton Park Tube station, east London.
Horrified shoppers gaze on in disbelief as the men struggle with the male, as the group spills into the middle of the road on Saturday afternoon around 1pm.
A burly shaven-headed man can be seen yanking the deadly blade from the youngster’s grip.
The youth is then seen struggling with one of the men against a car.
One man was stabbed in the hand and rushed to hospital for treatment. A 16-year-old was arrested at the scene.
A police spokesman said: “Police in Newham were called to Green Street, E13 at 12:50hrs on Saturday, 18 August following reports of a fight.
“Officers attended and found a man in his twenties suffering from a stab wound to the hand.
"He has been taken by London Ambulance Service to hospital for treatment.
“His injuries are not life threatening.

“A 16-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and taken to an east London police station for questioning.
“Enquiries continue.”
Transport for London was forced to divert five buses as a result of the incident.
It comes as the capital’s surging crime wave continues to rip through its streets.
Last week, a teenager was disembowelled in Camberwell, south-east London, with his intestines spilling out.
Four men were taken to hospital following the mass-stabbing, a gang fight reportedly sparked by a feud over a belt.
A man in his 60s was fatally stabbed in Catford, south-east London, on Saturday morning.
At least 51 people have been fatally stabbed in London this year.
