The 72-year-old has spent weeks in recovery after a mechanical failure occurred in his vintage two-seater fighter plane and his aircraft crashed into the Penmar Golf Course on March 5.
A list of Harrison's injuries included a large head laceration, broken pelvis and ankle.
However, clearly not one to give up, the actor has now been pictured for the first time dual piloting a helicopter at Santa Monica airport in Los Angeles.
Coming in to land, Harrison was seen waiting patiently with the other pilot for the rotors to come to a halt, before then getting behind the wheel of a nearby golf cart.

The star, that was wearing a pair of khaki trousers and a beige top and cap for his outing, could be seen smiling towards onlookers, clearly pleased after getting that first ride out of the way.
Harrison's helicopter ride comes after he was also seen out and about earlier this week, looking fit and well.
"Harrison seemed fine and drove himself to Steven Spielberg's house for a visit. After spending weeks in the hospital, he seemed happy to be back at home," a source told PEOPLE.

"He makes small errands and visits friends," the source also added of small sightings of the star since the crash.
Following the horrific incident, Harrison's son Ben took to Twitter to reassure fans at the time, posting: "At the hospital. Dad is ok. Battered, but ok.
"He is every bit the man you would think he is. He is an incredibly strong man."
He later thanked supporters for their well-wishes.
