The Repair Shop star Will Kirk broke the news by uploading a picture on Instagram comparing his tiny baby boy's hands and feet to his own hands as the little one lay on a playmat.

The TV fave, who is happily married to wife Polly Snowdon, revealed in the caption that the pair couldn't be happier, as he quipped: "Three become four." Will added: "I'm very proud of my lovely wife for the last nine months. Mum and baby doing well, including an incredibly excited big sister #babyboy."

Will previously made the strength of his paternal feelings clear after the birth of his first child - a daughter whose name he hasn't shared with the public. He recalled at the time how becoming a dad was the best thing he'd "ever done in his life".

Back in November 2022, he confessed in Hello! magazine that he was "absolutely in love" with his little girl. He admitted that glimpsing her eyes looking into his first thing in the morning had made it difficult for him to prise himself away and start filming sessions for The Repair Shop.

Fortunately for his many fans, he did return to work after taking a few weeks away for paternity leave. However, he already has plans for his daughter to follow in his footsteps in the furniture restoration business one day, reasoning that it's "in her blood".

On The One Show earlier this year, he had fans welling up as he admitted he's been using his skills to handcraft gifts for her.

He proudly told overawed Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas: "I'm hand carving loads of wooden animals for her birthday."

The 39-year-old revealed that he too is following family traditions, as his grandfather was also a carpenter with his own workshop.

Will, who has a lust for life and never stops smiling, began his career journey with a Graphic Design degree at university, which he followed up with an Antique Furniture Restoration and Conservation qualification at the London School of Furniture.

When his father died, he reacted to the struggle and strife by launching his own business - and made just £890 in his first year.

However, he persevered - and when an opportunity came up to give some TLC to a piece of furniture belonging to a member of The Repair Shop's production team, he seized the introduction.

"He said, 'Do you mind if I come down to your workshop with a camera and a few cans of beer and we can have a chat about your furniture, restoring furniture and everything else?'” Will recalled.
