'I wished I had started sooner': Natasha Kaplinsky's regret not having children younger
SHE'S one of the most famous news presenters in Britain, but Natasha Kaplinksy admitted she wished she had more children.
The star - who famously won the first series of Strictly Come Dancing back in 2004 - has opened up about her desire for more children.
The mother-of-two told the Daily Mail she met her husband "later" in life and wished she'd started having kids sooner.
Natasha revealed: "I would have had a whole football team if I could have done.
"I met my husband later on in life. I feel very fortunate with my two, but I feel I would be pushing my luck if I tried again."
The Channel 5 star added: "I didn’t know what it would feel like to have children and it’s only since then that I wished I had started sooner."
Natasha met her husband Justin Bower in 2005 and married him six months after their first blind date.
After moving to Channel 5 in 2008, Natasha revealed she was pregnant just six weeks into her new job - her first child was a son, to be named Arlo.
Just a year later the stylish presenter was pregnant again, and had a baby girl in 2010 called Angelica Pearl.
Speaking to the Express.co.uk about her children last year, Natasha said: "My children think news is incredibly boring. When we were waiting to see the royal baby for the first time, I kept trying to explain to them that this was a really big moment, but they wanted to watch Fireman Sam and Peppa Pig. I was overruled.
"I grew up in Kenya, so I didn’t actually see a TV until I was seven. When I did, it was this sort of magical box. I was fascinated. I guess that’s one of the reasons why I ended up working on it."
