Great British Bake Off's Sue Perkins laughs off complaints about 'saucy' presenting style
THE GREAT British Bake Off presenter Sue Perkins has laughed off complaints about her saucy presenting style after viewers apparently complained about "constant smutty remarks."
According to BBC's Point of View, viewers have complained about Sue and co-host Mel Giedroyc's style of presenting, with one disappointed fan confessing they were "tired" of certain remarks.
"They get smuttier and smuttier and it is totally unnecessary," said another.
"Mary Berry looked quite embarrassed on the first programme of this series and so were we as a family."
Mel/Sue complaints on POV don't bother me, it's the European Parliament's ruling on our 'Dutch' accents I'm dreading....

Point of View went on to share a number of clips of the pair, including a scene where they congratulated a contestant for being "commended on your nuts by Mary Berry."
Another one showed the presenters telling the contestants they had to "pop Mary's cherry…in the oven and then bring it out again."
However, clearly unfazed by the show's complaints, which contradict many fans' love of the pair, Sue took to her Twitter page to laugh off the controversy.
She wrote: "Mel/Sue complaints on POV don't bother me, it's the European Parliament's puling on our 'Dutch' accents I'm dreading…"
This year's series, the first since it moved from BBC2 to BBC1, has already caused controversy, with contestant Iain Watters dumping his baked Alaska in the bin after it melted one week.
While two weeks ago, Mary and Paul refused to send anyone home for the first time ever.
