'I’ve got massive butterflies' Amanda Holden makes her presenting debut on This Morning
AMANDA Holden completed her first day of co-hosting This Morning with Phillip Schofield today.
The 43-year-old star admitted at the beginning of the show that she was suffering from nerves but got through the two hours without a hiccup.
"I’ve got massive butterflies," she told Phillip as they welcomed viewers to the Monday morning edition of the show.
"I felt really wretchedly nervous yesterday and now I feel a little bit better."
Reading out good luck tweets, Phillip read one form his usual co-host Holly Willoughby, who is now on maternity leave.

"Thank you Holly, hope you’ve got your feet up at home!" Amanda replied, before asking Phillip: "My heart is pounding can you see it?"
The former Wild at Heart star looked lovely in a nude pencil skirt from Marks & Spencer which she wore with a pale blue jumper from high street store GAP.
Amanda left her blonde hair down in a loose wave and completed her look with a pair of dark heels.
At the end of the show, a relieved Amanda admitted that she had actually enjoyed her first day, and told Phillip: Yes, I’m alright now…" before joking: "Is it too early for gin?!"
Before today's show, the Britain's Got Talent judge made no secret of the fact that she felt nervous about her new role.
"Of course I will be a bit nervous when I start," she said. "But that is totally understandable. This role is fantastic. It’s a total change from the norm and it’s going to be a big new challenge for me.
"I do watch This Morning. I am an avid viewer and I like the fact that it covers so many different topics. To be part of it is such a big thing for me. I am really happy about it all," she added.
