Bob Geldof spotted outside ITV studios after recording interview with Lorraine Kelly
HE'S BEEN dealing with the grief of losing his daughter Peaches Geldof earlier this year, but Bob Geldof put on a brave face as he entered ITV studios this morning.
The Irish rocker was seen arriving at the TV studios in London this morning wearing a colourful shirt and a black leather jacket.
He was recording an interview with chat show host Lorraine, set to air on ITV tomorrow morning.
His late daughter Peaches was found dead in her home in Kent on 7 April, having suffered from a suspected heroin overdose.
The star has revealed he's throwing himself into the music scene to help him deal with Peaches' untimely demise.
Bob told The Telegraph playing a gig with his band The Boomtown Rats has helped him to deal with the loss of his daughter Peaches.
The Live Aid founder played his first gig following the tragic death in May at Volkfest in Plymouth, where he admitted that the crowd helped him to focus on something that wasn't her untimely death.
"It's that thing people say - some other part of you comes out," he told The Telegraph.
"And I guess that's right. In that regard, it's very cathartic.
"There's a lot of things going on in my head at the moment and you can just purge them and the crowd allow you to do that."
He went on to reveal that the gig ensured he slept well, which was the "first time in weeks."
After her death, rocker Geldof described his daughter as "the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us”.
He added: "Writing ‘was’ destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?
"We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is."
