Jack Bauer Vs Del Boy! Only Fools And Horses secure prime London filming spot over 24
ONE used to be a member of the Counter Terrorist Unit in the US, and the other's a wheeler and dealer from Peckham - but Jack Bauer and Del Boy have finally come head-to-head.
It's been revealed that filming for the latest series of 24 has been put on hold because the BBC managed to secure a filming spot before US producers of the hit TV show could.
The makers of 24 wanted to use West London's famous Shepherd's Bush Market for key scenes which are set in the capital, but they've had to reschedule their dates because the prime location had already been booked by the BBC in order to film part of the one-off Only Fools And Horses special.
A source told The Sun last night: "It was the perfect venue - and Bauer usually gets what he wants. But he's clearly never been up against Del before."
Kiefer Sutherland, 47, who takes on the role of fugitive Jack Bauer, was spotted filming scenes for season eight in The City last week.
24 will be back on the small screen in the US in May, whereas the Only Fools and Horses one-off starring Sir David, 73, and former footballer David Beckham, will be screened as part of Sport Relief in March.
