Helena Bonham Carter revealed as the straight-talking lady of The Lone Ranger
FANS have been given a sneak peak at Helena Bonham Carter in her latest role as Red Harrington in upcoming film The Lone Ranger.
In an exclusive film poster released by Disney today, the 46-year-old actress can be seen looking sombre as she sports bright red hair.
Red Harrington is described as the dramatically coiffed, straight-talking, ivory-legged proprietor of a mobile establishment of lavish entertainments.
The action movie centres around the masked hero who is brought to life through new eyes. A Native American spirit warrior, Tonto, played by Johnny Depp, recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid, a man of the law, into a legend of justice.
The film follows the two unlikely heroes as they learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.
It also stars Ruth Wilson as Rebecca Reid, another lady of The Lone Ranger. She is described as being 'made for finer things yet possessing the grit and independence of any frontiersman, Rebecca is a woman whose spirit is caught between two men, her husband Dan and his more refined younger brother John.'
The Lone Ranger is set for release on August 9 2013.
