Kate and Prince William welcomed the baby boy, weighing 8lbs 7oz, at 11.01am today, Monday April 23.
Fans cheered when they heard the news today.
Kensington Palace wrote on Twitter: “The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.

"The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news”.

The stylist Natasha Archer was photographed leaving the hospital and getting into a Landrover escorted by a police officer at around 11:30am today.
The world’s media and dozens of fans are outside the Paddington hospital waiting for any news on the royal birth.
Ms Archer is responsible for The Duchess of Cambridge’s glamorous tour outfits.
She has been working for the couple since 2007, first as a PA and then a stylist.
She has been the advisor behind plenty of the Duchess’s outfit options, including the dress she wore for her engagement announcement.
The Duchess of Cambridge has been in hospital since around 6am on Monday April 23.
It is not known exactly what time the royal couple will appear with the new born baby boy.
Earlier today, bookies slashed the odds on baby names with the news of the labour, and Arthur and Mary have come out on top.

Punters still believe Kate Middleton will give birth to a royal prince, at odds of 10/11, with even money that a royal princess is on the way.
Arthur (5/1), Mary (6/1), Alice (7/1) and James (8/1) currently lead the way as the favourites.
The baby will be fifth-in-line to the throne, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh's sixth great-grandchild and a younger brother or sister for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge.
The baby's title will be HRH Prince or Princess of Cambridge.
The Duchess is likely to take an extended period off to recover and care for her new baby, but will attend Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding on May 19.
The roads are still open to the public outside the hospital, which are due to be closed shortly before the royal parents leave the building.
