Pippa Middleton’s wedding to be kitted out with luxury loos
PIPPA Middleton’s wedding guests will enjoy facilities fit for royalty, as the Duchess of Cambridge's sister splashes out on luxury bathrooms - complete with oak fittings and spotlights for her high society nuptials.
The couple are set to marry in Berkshire on Saturday
The Duchess of Cambridge’s little sister will marry hedge fund manager James Matthews on Saturday in the 12th century St Mark’s Church in the Berkshire village of Englefield.
Ensuring nothing will be bog-standard on her special day, the future queen’s younger sister has ensured the bathrooms match the extravagance of the venue.
Complete with porcelain basins and full-length mirrors, the toilets will be fitted with eco-friendly vacuum flushes, similar to those found on planes.
With only three days to go until the big day, the posh portable loos were delivered by lorry to the Middleton's family home in Bucklebury, Berkshire.
The firm that provides them, AndyLoos, describes itself as the ‘foremost provider of luxury portable toilets’, and according to industry insiders, the fancy bogs cost in excess of £6,000.
With no expense spared, Ms Middleton and Mr Matthews have hired a huge glass marquee to host their wedding breakfast and evening festivities.
The marquee has been shipped from Belgium and is estimated to have set the couple back around £100,000.
Guests will get the royal treatment all the way to the bathroom
The portable loos will look just like real bathrooms
Preparations for the nuptials are already in full swing, with deliveries from Ramsbury Brewery in Wiltshire seen arriving at the Middleton home, as well as electricity generators to ensure nothing stops the party.
In London, a number of garment bags, believed to contain bridesmaid dresses, were brought to the £17 million mansion the couple share.
Around the same time, sources claim Pippa’s wedding dress was hand delivered, following a final dress fitting last week.
EVERYTHING you need to know about Pippa Middleton's wedding
Reports have suggested the 33-year-old bride has requested wedding guests to bring a change of clothes for the evening festivities - with sources suggesting she may be planning an outfit change for herself too.
Although the Middletons have vehemently maintained that the wedding is a private family event, the eyes of the world will be upon it, with the guest list including the Duchess of Cambridge with Prince William, and Prince Harry with his girlfriend, actress Meghan Markle.
Ms Middleton’s niece and nephew will also take a starring role – two-year-old Princess Charlotte will be a bridesmaid while her three-year-old brother Prince George is said to be a page boy.
