Queen's great-granddaughter enjoys horsing around at Gatcombe eventing festival
LIKE mother like daughter...the Queen’s great-grandchild Isla horses around on the shoulders of Autumn Phillips as the pair wear identical polo shirts at the Gatcombe Festival of British Eventing.
The annual event takes place at Gatcombe Park, the Gloucestershire home of Princess Anne and her family, and features dressage, showjumping and cross country riding.
Two-year-old Isla is the daughter of Autumn and husband Peter Phillips, 36, the son of Princess Anne and her first husband Captain Mark Phillips.
It was only after they had started dating that she spotted him on TV alongside Prince William that she realised he was part of the Royal family
The couple have another daughter, Savannah, three.
Montreal born Autumn, also 36, who has retained her Canadian citizenship, met Peter at the Montreal Grand Prix and had no idea he was related to the Queen.
It was only after they had started dating that she spotted him on TV alongside Prince William that she realised he was part of the Royal family.
She is no stranger to horsey events. She was at the Royal Windsor Horse Show earlier this year and last weekend she attended Ascot’s King George Meeting.
