As next in line to the throne, William, 43, is thinking carefully about the approach he will take, and has already dropped certain hints about what we can expect to see.

Meghan Markle's dad has said he wants to reunite with his estranged daughter "before it’s too late".

It is understood that Meghan, 44, called hospitals in the Philippines after learning that Thomas Markle, 81, was hospitalised and had his leg amputated after suffering a blood clot. Ulrika Jonsson has since weighed in on the family drama as the presenter explained she was estranged from her dad for some years before his death.

Prince Harry has received major support after requesting a review of his security arrangements in the UK.

Harry, 41, previously said that he felt it was unsafe for his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, to visit his home country. Whilst Harry has visited on numerous occasions, with his last visit taking place back in September, Meghan and their children have not set foot in the UK since 2022.

Meghan Markle is reportedly planning on sending her dad Thomas Markle a handwritten note following his emergency surgery earlier this month.

The 44-year-old is said to have emailed Thomas on December 5, two days after his surgery which saw his foot and lower leg amputated.

Prince William has paid tribute to British zoologist Iain Douglas-Hamilton, who died at the age of 83 on Monday. His death was confirmed in a statement released by his Save the Elephants group.

Iain, who founded Save the Elephants in 1993, was also among the first to introduce GPS tracking and aerial survey techniques.

Prince Harry has recently requested a review of his security arrangements in the UK, with one expert suggesting that this shows the current state of his relationship with King Charles.

Harry, 41, wrote privately to Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood, requesting a full security risk assessment.

According to a royal expert, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor might have "no choice" but to endure "further humiliation" aftermoving to a new property in the Sandringham Estate. 

Andrew announced he would be relinquishing his official royal titles following renewed concerns regarding his friendship with the late paedophile,  Jeffrey Epstein.

Celebrations were in order for Prince William on Tuesday morning as he marked the 20th anniversary of his time as Patron of Centrepoint. The homelessness charity, which was famously supported by Diana, Princess of Wales, welcomed William to tour their new offices in London to honour the milestone.

During his visit, the Prince grinned as he received a giant purple cake from baker Juliet Sear, before joining staff and young people who have supported the charity over the years. He then joined the team to create a new 'Wall of Hope' mural, which has been co-designed by artist Lanré Olagoke MBE.

With Christmas just around the corner, preparations for the big day are under way in households across the country. This includes the Royal Household, who will no doubt be planning every detail for the Royal Family’s Christmas Day at Sandringham.

While the day tends to run the same every year for the royals, the guest list tends to differ, and this year is no exception. Queen Camilla’s children, Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes, enjoyed a royal Christmas last year, but it appears they and their families won’t need seats at the table this year.

Prince Harry has repeatedly stated that without security, he is unable to bring his wife, Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the UK. Yesterday's legal development could pave the way for Harry to bring his children to the UK to reunite with family members, including their grandfather, King Charles.

In a U-turn, a full-scale review of his security by the official body that assesses how royals and VIPs are guarded is now under way, and a decision will be made in January. It comes after Prince Harry wrote privately to the Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmood, requesting a full security risk assessment, according to The Guardian.

Meghan Markle's father has been transferred out of intensive care and is now in a standard hospital ward, it has been confirmed. Mr Markle, 81, had to have his left leg amputated below the knee last Wednesday following being rushed to hospital after becoming seriously ill at home.

It took place at a hospital in Cebu, Philippines, which is where he relocated in January this year. With permission from Thomas Markle, Dr Neil Sanico has spoken out - and confirmed that the operation went well.

Prince Harry made a series of quips at a business lunch in Los Angeles, stating that life in the Royal Family feels like TV drama Downton Abbey. Last week, the Duke of Sussex served as a surprise guest at the British American Business Council's (BABC) LA lunch.

He took an opportunity to compare Royal Family life to that of Lord Julian Fellowes' Downton Abbey. He said: "People sometimes ask if growing up with the Royal Family was a bit like Julian's Downton Abbey." He added: "Yeah, but only one of those worlds is filled with drama, intrigue, elaborate dinners, marriages to Americans – and the other is a TV show."

Princess Catherine was pictured enjoying a sweet moment with Prince Louis at her Together at Christmas Carol Service on Friday. The Princess of Wales was joined by her family - including Prince William and their two eldest children, Prince George, 12, and 10-year-old Princess Charlotte - at Westminster Abbey for the fifth year running.
