Prince Harry's odds of rejoining the Royal Family have dwindled as time is running out for the estranged royal, who stepped down from duties in early 2020.

Although it remains unclear when his uncle Lord Robert Fellowes's funeral will take place, Harry is said to be likely to attend - as will Prince William.

Harry is said to have been close to the Fellowes family, with Lord Robert married to the late Princess Diana's sister Jane, with BBC former royal correspondent Jennie Bond recently telling OK! that Harry will likely "want to be at his uncle's funeral".

A possible reunion between Harry and William has now led to speculation that the Duke of Sussex may rejoin the Royal Family - with a market guessing which year a reunion between Harry and the royals could take place.

According to Gambling.com, 2025 previously came out as the 6/4 favourite for the year of a reunion.

However, as several months have passed, 2026 is now the 13/8 favourite on UK betting sites for Harry's royal return.

While there haven't been many recent positive signs that Harry will return to the Royal fold, it is just 5/2 that he will do so in 2027 or later.

But with less than five months remaining of 2024, it has been pushed out to 6/1 - and 2025 is 3/1.

Meanwhile, it's 10/1 that Harry holds firm and doesn't ever rejoin The Firm.

Earlier this year, it reportedly looked as though Harry was gearing up for a royal return after a statement made in 2016 was deleted from the Royal Family's website.

Speaking of the statement, which had been up for seven years, PR expert Ryan McCormick said that the move may have been the royals "laying the groundwork" to attempt to reconcile with Harry.

Discuss the funeral of the brothers' uncle, royal correspondent Michael Cole said that Robert Fellowes' death will likely "not affect family dynamics".

He told the Daily Mail:"Prince William and Prince Harry have always been on good terms with their late mother’s sisters and brother.

"Aside from extending their sincere condolences to their aunt Jane, the death of their uncle will likely have minimal impact on the two royal Princes."
