Harry was already working on causes related to women’s rights and girl’s education before Meghan came along. Ms Nikkhah explained how Harry even went to Nepal and spoke “passionately” about the importance of education for girls. She added that Harry shows how he is a feminist by allowing his wife to take “centre stage” on engagements.
Ms Nikkhah said: “Before Meghan came on the scene Harry was doing plenty of things.
“He went to Nepal a couple of years ago and spoke very passionately at the Nepal Girls’ Summit in Kathmandu all about the importance of education for girls in rural communities, the importance of girls going into work.
“Meghan has almost stolen his spotlight in that respect.
“Harry has been championing women’s causes for a very long time before his very cool wife has been thrust into the limelight.”
The Prince indeed came an impassioned speech in Nepal in 2016, where he said “there are too many obstacles between girls and the opportunities they deserve”.
He spoke about how “unlock” opportunities for women, men must also speak up for women.
He echoed this sentiment in the 2014 UN gender equality movement HeForShe.
The Duke of Sussex said: “Real men treat women with dignity and give them the respect they deserve.”

Now he is married to Meghan, he shows his respect by allowing her to be in the limelight.
Ms Nikkhah said: “The greatest evidence of his feminism now is how he supports Meghan.
“He seems for the time being, very happy to let her take centre stage, in the way that William often does on joint engagements with Kate.”
She added that this was something his father, Prince Charles, struggled with.
