Princess Eugenie wedding: Sarah Ferguson to arrive at daughter's wedding ALONE
SARAH Ferguson has been sharing her excitement at her daughter Princess Eugenie tying the knot since the moment she got engaged. But why will Sarah Ferguson arrive at her daughter’s wedding alone?
Princess Eugenie of York, who is eighth in line to the throne, will tie the knot with fiance Jack Brooksbank on October 12, 2018.
The pair will wed at St George’s Chapel, in the grounds of Windsor Castle, which is the same location where Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got married in May.
Eugenie's mother Sarah Ferguson, who is separated from her father Prince Andrew, attended the wedding of the Meghan and Harry solo.
However, she was snubbed from Prince William and Kate’s wedding in 2011.
HAS ROYAL'S DRESS BEEN REVEALED?
Sarah will no doubt be playing a prominent role in her daughter’s wedding next week.
But, as the mother of the bride, she will most likely be attending solo and sitting next to her oldest daughter Beatrice, who is expected to be maid of honour.
The wedding day will hopefully be drama-free too, as Sarah is on good terms with her ex-husband and father of the bride Prince Andrew, Duke of York.
Prince Andrew is expected to walk his 28-year-old daughter down the aisle.
Andrew and Sarah married at Westminster Abbey on July 23, 1986.
They welcomed Beatrice on August 8, 1988 and Eugenie on March 23, 1990.
However, their marriage did not last and they divorced in May 1996.
How did Eugenie meet Jack?
She met the 31-year-old, who was the manager of Mayfair hotspot Maliki, through mutual friends during a ski-trip to Verbier seven years ago.
The granddaughter of the Queen got engaged in Nicaragua in January.
