Samsung Galaxy Note 9 LEAK: First hands-on video emerges ahead of official unveiling
SAMSUNG Galaxy Note 9 is getting its official unveiling in a week’s time, and ahead of the launch the first hands-on video with the handset has emerged.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is the next flagship from the South Korean tech giant.
The upcoming Android handset is set to be revealed at a Samsung Unpacked event in New York on Thursday August 9.
Like the Galaxy S9 and S9+, the Note 9 is expected to have a similar design to its predecessor - the Galaxy Note 8.
Slight rumoured differences include the fingerprint sensor on the back of the Galaxy Note 9 being moved further away from the rear cameras.
And as fans wait for the official unveiling the first hands-on video with the Note 9 has emerged.
MobileFun.co.uk managed to obtain an alleged video showing the Galaxy Note 9 in the flesh.
The footage was obtained via “extensive contacts in China” and shows the Note 9 being used for screen protector testing.
The footage shows the front and rear of the Note 9 - and as expected the device pictured does not differ greatly to the Galaxy Note 8.
On their site MobileFun also has a selection of Galaxy Note 9 cases available for pre-order.
And the renders of the Note 9 shown inside Olixar cases once again look very similar to the Galaxy Note 8.
In other Samsung Galaxy Note 9 news, Express.co.uk recently reported on encouraging reports about the upcoming handset’s price.
Samsung had previously said that the Note 9 would have a “reasonable price.”

And a new leak appears to suggest the Galaxy Note 9 could be more affordable than fans had initially thought.
A user on Chinese social network Weibo posted a picture of a poster he claims revealed the Galaxy Note 9's price.
The picture showed the Samsung phablet selling for 13,500,000 Indonesian Rupiahs.
This would be the equivalent to around £712.
Although the price is not expected to convert exactly, it could indicate the Galaxy Note 9 could launch at a significantly lower price than its predecessor.
The Galaxy Note 8 launched at a premium price point of £898 in the UK.
But if the new flagship does retail at a lower price, it could help the Note 9 radically increase its sales.
Samsung has admitted it pushed the release date of the new phablet early in an attempt to combat disappointing sales of the Galaxy S9 and S9+.
A new report from The Bell declared the S9 and S9+ have sold worse than the Galaxy S8 and S8+ in the second quarter of this year.
