Here's how to cancel your subscription with popular US streamer Netflix
Its not hard to see why Netflix has become synonymous with online video on-demand services.
The hugely successful US service streams a staggering 100 million hours of television shows and films to 62 million subscribers every day.
But if you decide to take a break from the online streaming service or want to cancel your subscription before the end of your 30 day free trial – Express.co.uk has put together a quick guide.

Those who want to cut ties with the US streaming service will be pleased to hear that cancelling a Netflix subscription is quick and painless.
First – navigate to www.netflix.com within your internet browser.
You should be greeted by the recently redesigned Netflix homepage. In the top right-hand corner, hover over the Account Name to reveal a drop-down menu.

Click on the second time in the menu – Your Account.
This loads a separate menu which houses all of the information associated with your Netflix account, including billing information, preferences and current subscription plan.
Within the payment details is the Cancel Subscription button – which you need to click.
Finally, Netflix will load its Cancel Membership webpage.
This will let you know when your cancellation will become effective – Netflix lets you keep using the service until the end of your current billing period, or free trial.
Clicking the red Complete Cancellation button finalises the cancellation. Netflix will also send you a confirmation notice to the email address associated with your account.
Luckily – Netflix will retain your viewing history and your recommendations for a year after you close your account.
This means when you return to the service, the finely-tuned recommendations you honed during your latest stint with the streamer will still be in place.
