But some mobile operators, including O2, have told buyers there is a six week wait time for the most popular iPhone 6 64GB handset.
An O2 spokesperson told the Daily Star Online "Demand for the iPhone 6 is very high.
"Customers who have placed an order with us will be kept up to date with delivery information."
Buyers face a 10 day wait for the iPhone 6 at the Apple Store, or 3-4 weeks for the 6 Plus.
Apple’s iPhone 6 was recently crowned winner in a Which? magazine poll for the fastest smartphone on the market, beating the bigger iPhone 6 Plus.
The top five was dominated by the firm's range, with the iPhone 5s being ranked fourth, just behind Samsung's Galaxy S5 which finished third.
