X is down as (formerly) Twitter users report issues with their feeds. Users around the world are experiencing issues, with a spike in reports here in the UK just before 3pm today (March 18), according to Downdetector.

The UK, USA, Canada, and India, appear to be the most affected countries.

Reports of issues still growing

Reports of issues in the UK have now reached 7191 (at 3.30pm). 

X app down for thousands of users

Issues using the X app now affecting 50% of users who reported issues, the latest info from Downdetector say.

Thousands of users unable to display feed

Thousands of users in the UK are currently displaying an error message when trying to load their feed on X saying: "Something went wrong. Try reloading."

Over 4000 reports of issues

In the UK, there have been over 4000 reports of issues so far.

Downdetector says 4359 have been recorded at 3.16pm

Most reported issues

The most common reported issues include pages not loading on browsers and the app being unable to display or update its feed. 

USA and Canada also affected

Other countries affected are the USA and Canada.

Issues affecting X app

Most reported problems appear to be linked to the use of the X app. Feed and timeline are also being affected, as well as the website.

Issues for Android and iOS

The X app on Android and iOS is displaying error messages and failing to load content. The biggest outage so far appears to be in India.

Spike in reports

A spike in reports was then recorded just before 3pm, with over 300 issues, according to Downdetector.

Reports of issues started earlier today

The first reports were recorded at around 12pm today (March 18).

Twitter [X] users around the world are reporting issues with their feed.
