Bet365 down: App not working as Cloudflare internet outage hits multiple sites
Cloudflare has left numerous websites inaccessible.

Cloudflare was down for several hours on Friday evening, sparking a widespread internet outage, hitting many major websites including Bet365 and Uber Eats. According to Downdetector, which tracks issues with web platforms, the network saw a high number of complaints this evening.
As of 8.07pm oon Friday, 3998 people had reported issues with the service. Cloudflare operates as a content delivery network and distributed DNS (domain name server). Its services protect website owners from peak loads, comment spam attacks and DDoS (distributed denial of service) attacks.

Cloudfare investigating the issue
In a statement, Cloudflare said: "We are investigating issues with our services and/or network. Users may experience errors or timeouts reaching Cloudflare’s network or services."
Around 4,000 complaints filed till now
Till 8.07pm, around 4,000 people have raised the issue on Downdetector.
Not an off case...
Cloudflare has suffered an outage earlier as well, with the most recent outages recorded in December and November.
Jake Moore, global cybersecurity adviser at ESET, previously said: "If a major provider like Cloudflare goes down for any reason, thousands of websites instantly become unreachable.
"The problems often lie with the fact we are using an old network to direct internet users around the world to websites but it simply highlights there is one huge single point of failure in this legacy design."
Bet365 issues response
Bet365 wrote on X: "We’re aware of an issue with our Website/App, and our Technical Team are working to resolve it as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience."
Is Bet365 down?

What does this mean?

Uber Eats gets 4,000 complaints
Uber Eats had nearly 4,000 outage reports logged by 6.40pm.
One person wrote on X: "Imagine being hungry and Uber Eats app goes down." Another added: "So my Uber eats app just stopped working as my order is on its way."
A third said: "What’s the point of having Uber One when Uber Eats is so unreliable? The last time we tried to order you wouldn’t let us because you said there were no drivers and now the whole app is down. We’re wasting our money!!"
Bet365 'working to resolve' issue
A member of the tech support team for Bet365 said they are aware of the issue and trying to resolve it.
