Usually £10.99 per month those who sign up to the platform on an annual plan will pay an average of £9 per month instead.

Although the most expensive plan it gives users the best experience with Dolby Atmos surround sound, 4K UHD HDR quality, and you're able to watch different things on four devices at once.

The new Star Wars Acolyte series, Shardlake and season five of The Kardashians are new additions to streaming favourite Disney+. Although, as the site cracks down on password sharing and limits high-end features for its premium plan it may be time for viewers to upgrade.

Previously, Disney+ enthusiasts could access its bulk of shows and films for £1.99, in its rare deal, but the basic plan has since risen back to £4.99. On top of this, a Netflix-style crackdown on password sharing means users can no longer share their login details with friends and family.

This is why choosing an annual plan over monthly payments is gaining traction among standard and premium plan viewers - it offers 10 months for the price of 12. But there's even more reason why the priciest plan at £10.99 a month is growing in popularity.

As well as saving streamers £21.98, users will enjoy superior features not included in other plans if they opt for its most expensive package. Subscribers can stream from four devices simultaneously, as opposed to its limited two devices on its smaller standard and basic plans.

The next feature that's only available on the Disney+ premium is its sound-boosting Dolby Atmos support. The surround sound technology creates immersive and atmospheric audio and can make daily series feel more real.

The third feature only available on the £10.99 plan is the much better 4K UHD and HDR quality, if fans of the site remember this used to be included on its £7.99 package before Diensy+ introduced the premium plan - this ultra-high definition and sharpening feature got bumped up with it.

Then you have the two ad-free streaming and downloads included in both the premium package and stanadard package. If this has tempted you to upgrade to the swankier Premium plan you can do so here for £10.99 a month or save and buy the annual plan.

Amazon has just upped its Prime Kids subscription from £3.99 to £4.99 per month, which gives access to games and learning shows on its devices like Kids Fire Tablets. Streamers who're eager to get Netflix for a cheaper price (well, free) can do so at EE, as its packages include a basic plan for £0.
