The Euros are almost here and if you want to upgrade your sound system for all the biggest and best game around - this Amazon deal might peak your interest.

That's because the Sonos Ray soundbar has seen its price drop to £214.99 from £279.99 which seems expensive but Sonos products very rarely see price drops as steep as this.

The Sonos soundbar comes with anti-distortion technology, plus expertly engineered woofers for mid-range frequencies and two tweeters give your movies, music and games richer, more balanced audio.

You can also connect your soundbar to any Sonos WiFi speaker to create a sound system for the whole house, allowing you to listen to different songs in different rooms or listen together and when the TV is off, play music, radio, podcasts, and audiobooks from all your services over WiFi using the Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and more.

Amazon has cut the price of this Sonos Ray soundbar to £214.99 in a rare limited time deal.

Sonos products rarely get such a big price cut and this might be perfect if you don't want to spend tons on a sound system.

It packs a massive punch and is compact so you don't need tons of room to set it up.

And tons of reviewers have praised the soundbar for its sound despite its small size which comes in at 9cm x 55cm x 7 cm (HxLxW) so you can place it almost anywhere if you have a small space in your home.

One shopper said: "Having come previously from a large AV surround amp and discrete speakers / subwoofer and also the Sonos Arc, I was just wanting something to improve on the crappy sound that is built-in to TVs these days. For the price and the size of the unit (it's really very compact), I wasn't expecting amazing sound.

"I was quite stunned at the depth and volume this little box produces. Sure, the surround presence isn't really there, it's more of a wide soundstage, but for the price and size, it really packs a punch."

Another said: "The Ray on it's own produces good sound clarity and range, and it does provide some bass but you're never going to get a huge amount in a package this small (well, the Bose soundlink mini shows that it can be done...but that's a whole different can of 'nanas)."

But as some reviewers said don't expect tons of bass with the soundbar and if you have a bigger room, it might not be ideal for you. One reviewer commented: "It is easy to setup but sound quality is weak I was expecting better , sound not enough for big rooms".

If you want an alternative for a lower price, Samsung is selling this soundbar for £129 on its website with good reviews from buyers.
