Galaxy Note 9 just achieved a major victory over its Android and iOS rivals
GALAXY Note 9 has just achieved a major victory over its Android and iOS rivals, a new report has claimed.
Galaxy Note 9 is Samsung's flagship phablet that was unwrapped back in August last year.
The South Korean handset remains one of the most complete on the market; the hardware comes with one of the best displays around, has a huge battery and a capable camera system.
Moreover, the Note 9 is also the only top-tier smartphone to come with a stylus in the form of Samsung's signature S Pen.
The accessory neatly slots into the bottom of the phablet and has Bluetooth functionality that allows owners to control smartphone functions such as the camera shutter with it.
Following its debut, the Galaxy Note 9 was critically acclaimed by Android fans and media alike.
And now it seems the flagship phablet has just achieved another victory thanks to a new report from the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI).
The ACSI is a cross-industry measure of consumer satisfaction in the US that surveys an estimated 300,000 customers every year about different products and services they use.
In the ACSI's new Wireless Service and Cellular Telephone Report 2018-2019, it was stated the Galaxy Note 9 is "now America's favourite smartphone".
Samsung introduce the new Galaxy Note9
The ACSI provides handsets with an overall score based on consumer satisfaction - Note 9 was handed a tally of 86.
The new report read: "Among brands, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 is now America’s favourite smartphone with an ACSI score of 86.
"Users appreciate the powerful Android model, with its large screen and broad capabilities."
Interestingly, Apple's new iPhone Xs flagship was not mentioned in the document.
Instead it was noted the firm's older iPhone X device was awarded a rating of 83.
The ACSI explained: "Apple’s latest iteration, the iPhone X, is behind at 83. In fact, the iPhone X does no better than the iPhone 8 Plus or SE.
"Three more models cluster at 83: Galaxy’s J7 Prime and S8+, as well as Motorola’s Moto G."
In terms of companies, Apple and Samsung were tied first in the satisfaction ratings with a score of 81.
