My wooden floors have never looked or smelt so good thanks to 1 item — no bucket needed
I've been mopping my wooden floors for years, but I recently found a product that smells amazing.

Mopping floors can prove arduous work, particularly when lugging a bucket brimming with soapy water throughout the property. It's a task I undertake fairly frequently at home, especially given my wooden flooring extends across every room.
Following vacuuming, I prefer to mop everywhere to restore vitality to the floorboards. Lately, I stumbled upon a product claiming to eliminate the need for a traditional mop bucket altogether. Rather, you simply "squirt and mop" in a single action.

To accelerate my mopping regime, I opted to trial Method's All Floor Cleaner. It comes in a 739ml bottle with straightforward guidance: "No bucket or water required, squirt directly on floor area and mop with long strokes."
Following vacuuming, I seized the bottle and applied generous pressure over the flooring. I must note, the liquid did spray forcefully from the container and I remained uncertain about the appropriate amount to use.
I attempted to coat most sections of each space with the solution before retrieving my mop. I continued using my conventional mop, which I dampened beneath the tap.
As normal, I simply began mopping the surfaces and the mop absorbed the product. I recognised it was effective as my floors began gleaming impressively.

Completing all the rooms I intended to mop didn't require much time, and avoiding the need to haul a mop bucket alongside me proved remarkably convenient. I equally felt I'd conserved time by not needing to prepare a diluted mixture.
My floors dried significantly quicker than when I employ the conventional method, which I attribute to not having to repeatedly dip into a bucket of soapy water. Despite using less water on my floors, I didn't feel this compromised their cleanliness.
The standout feature of the product for me was its fragrance. I opted for the wild rhubarb scent, which gave my entire home with a delightful, spring-like aroma.
Once everything had dried, the scent lingered but wasn't overly dominant. A downside was the quantity of product I consumed.

I may have been somewhat liberal in my application, but I used about a quarter of the bottle in a single use. Given the £4.50 price tag per bottle, it's not ideal to use it too quickly, so I'd aim to be more conservative next time.
There are alternative squirt and mop products available, so I'm inclined to sample others on the market. Both The Pink Stuff and Elbow Grease offer comparable products.
