This cheap item is one you'll likely already have in your kitchen.

It’s spring cleaning time and it can be a daunting task to clean your windows if you’ve got a lot of them to get through and want to get the job done quickly. There’s nothing quite like that feeling of refreshing your home with a deep clean, but it can quickly become frustrating when stubborn stains or marks just won’t seem to budge.
Cleaning expert Nicola Rodriguez, in collaboration with Northerner, has shared her expert hacks for getting the most out of your spring cleaning and ingenious cheap hacks that’ll make you excited to get started. She says you can use vinegar to clean your windows which can be purchased for as little as 35p from Tesco. When you’re getting ready to deep clean, the pricey cleaning equipment in shops can put a lot of people off, but common household items can work just as well as some more expensive cleaning products.

Windows can be some of the most difficult things to clean because of the materials they are made from, the location, and the type of dirt they attract.
Nicola says you can use a solution of vinegar and water to clean your windows which will leave you with great results.
The glass can go streaky if the wrong products are used, or if you attempt to clean the window in direct sunlight when the glass is hot but by following Nicola’s advice your windows won’t be left with any marks.
For an effective homemade solution to clean windows try mixing a vinegar and water solution and cleaning with a microfibre cloth on a cloudy day to prevent quick drying.
You’ll save so much money making the effort to clean your own windows, and as the home gets lighter in summer, you won’t be distracted by streaks across the windows.
