"Depending on how stained they are, add half a cup to one cup of soda crystals to the washing machine and put it on a 60-degree wash."

Natasha Smith, a mother to a bustling brood of five boys and a girl, swears by soda crystals for their socks, saying: "I'm a mum of five boys and one girl and I always use soda crystals on their white socks. It's game-changing."

Susan Wilson stated: "Get yourself some soda crystals. It's the best thing I've ever used to get my boy's grubby white socks up."

Alisha Dobbs suggested: "Soak in soda crystals and then wash as normal. The brown stains will be gone and the socks will come out like new."

Debbie Powell shared her insights, writing: "I have two boys and used to have the same problem. Now I just add a scoop of soda crystals to every white wash and they are now lovely and white."

Soda crystals, touted for multiple uses from unclogging drains to laundry boosting and stain removal, offer a substantial benefit.

For shifting organic blemishes, only a dab of this natural cleaner along with your regular washing agent is needed.

More stubborn marks may require a preliminary soak - a mix of warm water and soda crystals soaking the socks for an hour prior to regular wash does the trick.

Incorporating soda crystals into routine laundry is straightforward merely combine the necessary quantity with your typical detergent either directly into the drum or the drawer.

To prevent clumping of soda crystals by liquid detergents, it's best to use one ingredient in the drum and the other in the drawer.
