The sugar glider, which is part of the same family as the kangaroo, is seen perched on top of a door frame in the cute clip.
Meanwhile, its owner patiently holds out an open arm.
Getting ready to take flight, the little critter then launches itself off the door.

Gliding through the air, the sugar glider fully extends its body into a sail as it floats down.
It lands effortlessly into its owner’s hands, before giving its human pal a bear-like hug.
The clip ends with the cute little critter still holding on tight to its owner’s hand.
The adorable moment was captured on camera by Kim Yeonji and has been seen over 22million times since it was shared last week.
The clip, which is believed to have taken place in South Korea, was certainly a hit with web users.
One wrote: “That does look really cute. It looks so soft and adorable when it lands and wraps its arms around the person's fingers.

Sugar gliders, who are native to Australia, only live up to nine years in the wild.
